The FinePix S5 Pro is Fujifilm’s latest digital SLR and successor to the S3 Pro. Like its predecessor, the SuperCCD combines data from 12.34 Megapixels to achieve up to four times the tonal dynamic range of rival sensors in highlight areas. It also features face detection technology to quickly check details during playback. Based on the Nikon D200 body, the S5 Pro also enjoys an F lens mount, top shutter and flash sync of 1/8000 and 1/250, 11-point AF, and tough magnesium alloy construction.

Fujifilm's FinePix S3 Pro is a professionally built digital SLR with a Nikon F-mount; the sensor size results in all lenses having their focal length effectively multiplied by 1.5 times. The S3 Pro's SuperCCD SR II sensor combines data from 12.34 million pixels to achieve up to four times the tonal dynamic range of rival sensors in highlight areas. It can shoot at up to 2.5fps, has shutter speeds from 30 seconds to 1/4000 plus Bulb and 100 to 1600 ISO sensitivity.
